Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 250g Ardo apple slices
- 6 circles of puff pastry, diameter 10 cm
- 50g melted salted butter
- 50g unrefined sugar
- 100g crème patissière (thick sweet custard)
- 1 egg
- cinnamon spice

Preparation
- Cut the 6 circles up to 1 cm from the edge. Brush the edges with the lightly beaten egg.
- Place a dollop of crème patissière in the centre and sprinkle with ground cinnamon. Arrange the frozen apple slices.
- Brush each tart with melted butter and sprinkle liberally with sugar.
- Bake for 10 minutes in the oven at 220°C.
- Sprinkle with sugar again, then bake again until the tarts are a beautiful golden brown.
- Serving suggestion: Decorate the edge with liquid caramel and serve with a portion of vanille ice cream.
