Vegetable dumplings with mushroom cocktail


Serves 4

- 200g Ardo Mushroom cocktail
- 50g Ardo Fried onions
- 25g Ardo Chives
- 3 tbsp. oil
- 1 tbsp Ardo ginger
- 2 tsp. sesame oil
- 3 tbsp. Shaoxing wine / sherry
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. flour
- dumpling wrappers

  1. Stir fry the onions for 30 seconds. Add the mushroom cocktail and ginger for 3-5 minutes until tender and the excess liquid has cooked off.
  2. Mix the chives with the sesame oil, Shaoxing wine or sherry, soy sauce and sugar.
  3. Chop the mushrooms and mix together with the chives mix and flour.
  4. Put 1 big teaspoon of filling on a dumpling wrap and assemble the dumpling by putting a little water on the edges and fold the dough on one side and press it together.
  5. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a non-sticky pan on medium high heat. Place the dumplings in the pan and allow to fry for 2 minutes. Pour a thin layer of water into the pan, cover, and reduce heat to medium-low. Allow dumplings to steam until the water has evaporated.
  6. Serve with Chinese black vinegar and soy sauce with ginger.
