Organic ‘haute dog’ with home-made ketchup


Serves 10

500g Organic Onions sliced Ardo
500g Organic Tomatoes diced Ardo
100g Organic Onions diced Ardo
10g Organic Garlic Ardo
1l organic red wine vinegar
80g organic tomato puree
2el cane sugar
Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper
organic olive oil
10 organic hot-dog buns
10 organic sausages


Gluten, Sesame



  1. Stew the onion cubes and garlic in some olive oil. Add the diced tomatoes and tomato puree and let it simmer for a while. Add the red wine vinegar and let simmer for 30 minutes.
  2. Mix the mass finely with a mixer and press the puree through a fine sieve.
  3. Season the sauce with a pinch of salt, cane sugar, Worcestershire sauce and tabasco.
  4. Allow the ketchup to cool down and store in the fridge.


  1. Fry the onion slices on a medium heat with a dash of olive oil. Stir regularly and let them turn golden brown. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Bake the sausages.
  3. Toast the buns in the oven at 180°C.
  4. Serve with the home made ketchup.
