Mexican style falafel burger



- 40 Ardo Falafels
- 120g Ardo Mix salsa Mexicana
- 300g Ardo Red and yellow grilled peppers parrilla
- 100g Ardo Red onion sliced
- 4dl mayonnaise
- 150g lettuce
- 20g nachos
- 10 burger buns

Ingredients for the brine:
- 50g sugar
- 2dl water
- 1dl white wine vinegar
- 5g salt


Gluten, Egg, Mustard


  1. Bring the ingredients for the brine to the boil. Pour this over the red onions in a sealed jar to brine. Do this a day in advance.  
  2. Mix the mayonnaise with the salsa Mexicana herb mix. 
  3. Cut the grilled peppers parrilla in strips. 
  4. Bake the falafels in the oven or deep fryer, as mentioned on the packaging.  
  5. Place the burger bun in the oven until crispy. 
  6. Spread the salsa Mexicana mayonnaise on both sides of the buns. Cover the bottom with the grilled pepper strips, falafel, lettuce, red onions and the nachos.  
  7. Close the burger bun and serve with sweet potato fries.
