Serves 4

200g Whole Green Beans extra fine Ardo
100g Diced tomatoes 10x10x10mm Ardo
8 small herring fillets
2 artichoke bottoms Ardo
1 tablespoon of Chopped Onion

For the seasoning:

2 tablespoon of mayonnaise
Juice of half a lemon
1 tablespoon of Ardo Dill
2 tablespoon of cream
Pepper and salt
1 tablespoon of chopped onion Ardo


Egg, Milk, Fish


  1. Cook the extra fine whole green beans and then rinse them with cold water. Drain and cut the beans into equal pieces of 4 cm approx.
  2. Cut the artichoke bottoms into quarters.
  3. Mix the seasoning ingredients together, and thin with a little cream if necessary.
  4. Flatten the herrings, stuff with the chopped onion, roll them up and place in the centre of the plate.
  5. Surround with the artichoke quarters, beans and tomatoes, and season to taste.
  6. Tip: serve with hot toast
