Most Edamame soy beans come from Asia. However, Ardo developed a perfect farming technology to grow this delicacy in Europe too (Marchfeld, Austria). The fresh green colour and sweet flavour make this Edamame in the pod an original appetiser. These beans in the pod are delicious with a pinch of coarse sea salt, with soy sauce or as a side dish with sushi.
Place the frozen vegetables in boiling water and bring back to the boil. Drain and season to taste.
Put the desired quantity of frozen product in a non-metallic microwaveable bowl, cover and cook, stirring occasionally.
Cook the frozen product in a steamer. Be careful to not overcook. Season to taste.
