We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our Finance team and work closely with our colleagues in different departments (sales, customer service). In this role you report into the Credit Manager.

  • Your main key focus areas are assessing credit applications and adhering to company payment policies.
  • You own the credit collection process and its follow-up: compliance with group credit management policy, release orders, update credit limits, credit insurance, reminder procedure…
  • You report any payment issues to management or the appropriate team. Close cooperation with Customer Service, Sales, and Corporate Finance
  • You follow up on overdue invoices and payments. This requires follow-up by phone and via iController.
  • You manage the portfolio of credit insurance.
  • You look for ways to improve debt collection processes.
  • You have preferably a bachelor’s degree.
  • You have a proven work experience as a Credit Controller or a similar role in accounting.
  • A good Credit Controller has a solution-oriented approach, aiming for results while staying customer-focused.
  • You can easily handle Excel and have experience with an accounting package or ERP system. Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
  • You have excellent collaboration and communication abilities since you work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You speak Dutch fluently and have a good knowledge of English and French. German is a plus.
