Your Scope

We are looking for a Senior Chief Accountant. As Chief Accountant you will be part of a finance team of 10 people.

You are responsible for one or more entities. You will report directly to the Group Accounting Manager. You will work from our head office in Ardooie.

In this position you will be dealing with:

  • Verifying correctness and accuracy of the accounting data;
  • Month-, quarterly- and year-end closings;
  • Corporate tax return filings; VAT declarations
  • Statutory reporting (s.a. annual accounts)
  • Financial & tax audits;
  • Supervising payment process;
  • Ad hoc projects and analyses.

Your profile

  • You have obtained a bachelor's or master's degree in finance/Accountancy;
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English;
  • You are hands-on;
  • You are accurate, well organised, flexible and stress resistant;
  • You see change as a challenge and you love looking for improvements;
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
